Job Description
Senior Manager, Inside Account Management involves overseeing and leading a team responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with clients through inside sales and account management strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of inside account managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the achievement of sales targets and client satisfaction.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Oversee the development and maintenance of strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed effectively.
- Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute inside sales strategies to drive revenue growth, upselling, and cross-selling within existing client accounts.
- Account Planning:
- Collaborate with the team to create account plans, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion within each client account.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales targets, client retention, and other relevant metrics, providing regular reports to executive leadership.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training and development opportunities for the inside account management team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work collaboratively with other departments such as marketing, product, and customer support to ensure a cohesive and effective client experience.
- Customer Feedback:
- Gather and analyze customer feedback, using insights to improve service delivery and enhance client satisfaction.
- Market Trends:
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adjust account management strategies accordingly.
- Problem Resolution:
- Assist in resolving escalated client issues and challenges, ensuring a positive resolution and maintaining client loyalty.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in account management, inside sales, or a related role, with a focus on team leadership.
- Strong understanding of the organization's products or services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership qualities with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align account management strategies with broader business objectives.
- Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics.
